A Spinning Globe Stops Here

It isn't often that one will find something positive written about Marseille, France. I used to frequent a mexican restaurant just a few feet from where this photo was taken. The idea of a French take on Mexican food can be quite funny but it really was some of the best cuisine I had during my entire stay in France. I don't recall the neighborhood being as vibrant and wonderful as it seems in the article but I also don't recall seeing drug deals. Marseille is a city filled with a mix of many cultures and can be quite dangerous. I navigated my time there well and came out with a better appreciation of just how tough my skin could be. I still think that Paris is much better:)
