conversations

The boys have stepped up their "learning to talk" phase. It seems that they are able to repeat everything and are starting to speak in sentences instead of one or two word phrases. They have also started talking to each other in words - not the strange language they had between the two of them.

They both feel the need to hold your face and talk with their heads as close to you as possible. I guess this means that they feel they are not given the proper attention when they are speaking. Today, Hudson wanted to hold Nana's phone and she said, "no." After several attempts, he found Garrett, took his little face into his little hands and said, "Bubba phone?" He repeated himself several times in an attempt to get Garrett to ask for Nana's phone. Maybe he felt that Garrett could charm her better than he could or he just wanted to see if Garrett would do what he wanted him to. Either way, it was a scary glimpse into the future. Before long they will be having conversations on how to cover up their messes or how best to sneak out of the house.
