Easter 2009 - Friday

Easter 2009 was spent with Mark's family in Ft. Worth. We made the drive on Thursday night to avoid traffic and to have one extra day to play. Friday was our "free" day with nothing planned. Nana was up in Ft. Worth visiting some family friends so we thought we would "crash" their party and give the child-free couple a nice dose of chaos. We missed Steve but had a wonderful visit with Linda. She was so gracious to welcome us to her new home with drink and food - the really good kind of drink and food. We almost didn't leave!!!

We started with Kir Royales. Check out the nice kitchen. I think the granite in her kitchen is worth more than our whole house :)

Nolan had so much fun looking at all the new stuff. He loved the high ceilings and the attention.

The house is large (our house fits in it four times). The boys brought over the cool new toys that Oma got them and Linda let them ride them in her house.

Hudson was peeling out with his big wheel. He was so serious the whole time about riding this thing in the house. I'm sure we gave Linda a heart attach on more than one occasion.

Mark was in heaven. Good beer, good food and enough room to spread out. It was such a nice time to relax and visit with an old friend. Steve and Linda have known us since I was 8 years old. I'm sure it's strange to see me with children now - many children.
After we left Linda and Steve's we went back to Oma and Ping Ping's to relax and let the kids run around some more. We were tired and full and just wanted to go to sleep. Maybe it was just me. We spent the evening catching up and planning for Saturday.
