I take life too seriously. "Relax" has been the response to so many of my admissions of worry about things in this life. As a mother I know that raising these boys right is the most important thing I will ever do in life. I'm learning to lose control while gaining respect. I'm learning to see the beauty in a little soul navigating this life. I'm praying that, above all, i'm loving them just as they are. I fail and founder but I pray that I will always "show up".
This post made me cry. It made me go kiss my kids one more time before bed and it made me rethink how I want to mother these three gifts that God has given me.
